I'm a software developer and Technician-class amateur radio operator. I make web and desktop applications, and I enjoy the place where software and radio communications meet.

The person behind the software

Hi, I'm Crayton.

I enjoy taking an idea or a frustrating workflow and turning it into something useful. Sometimes that means an application in a browser. Sometimes it means a dedicated desktop tool.

Much of my interest is in software and apps relating to Motorola Solutions and their platforms. I often work with Motorola Solutions systems and radios, so the connection between software and the equipment people use is a natural focus for me.

My background with systems gives me context for how applications fit into a larger environment. Today, my focus is on writing the software itself: thoughtful interfaces, practical functionality, and tools that are easy to understand.
